The City of McMinnville is knows as the heart of Oregon's wine country in the Willamette Valley. McMinnville is located south West of Portland about halfway between Portland and the Coast and 30 miles Northwest of the capital city of Salem. There are two major highways that run through this city, highway 99W and highway 18. This city is home to Linfield College, a private school with approximately 2,270 students. There are about 33,000 residents that call this area home.
