Hillsboro is Oregon's 5th largest city with a population of 96,000 residents and is 19 miles West of downtown Portland. This city is also home to Oregon's largest employer, Intel, along with several other technology companies making it the Portland metropolitan's silicon forest. Hillsboro is also home to Oregon's minor league baseball team The Hillboro Hops. The City of Cornelius borders Hillsboro to the West with a population of 12,000 residents. Cornelius is home to one of Oregon's acclaimed private school's, Pacific University, known for their graduate programs in healthcare and education.
