The 'Rose City' is the largest city in Oregon with a population of approximately 610,000 residents within city limits. This city is intersected by several major highways including I-5, I-205, I-84 and I-405. The Willamette river runs North through downtown and intersects with the Columbia river which runs to the Pacific Ocean and makes the city's name fitting as the third largest shipping port on the West coast. The City of Portland is home to many great companies including Adidas, Keen, Laika Animation Studio, Moda Health, Fred Meyer, New Seasons, The Old Spaghetti Factory, McMenamins, Leatherman Tools, Zidell Companies and Schnitzer Steel Industries. This city is also known for its 'weird' persona that stems from it's love of all things creative including a vast local restaurant scene and one of the largest food cart followings. The People of Portland have a love of brews both in coffee and alcohol with several local coffee roasters, microbreweries and distilleries housed here. Sports fans of Portland proudly support the Portland Trail Blazers and the Timbers fans in the MLS are known to be the loudest supporters in the league.
